We started in Barcelona, staying in a beautiful boutique hotel in a perfect area. We had private guides and a driver throughout the city, and our favorite experiences there were a relaxed bicycle tour and an amazing scuba dive along the coast. We visited the major landmarks—La Sagrada Família, Park Güell, the Gothic Quarter—and every moment felt curated just for us. From there, we headed to Seville, where the team arranged one of the most memorable activities of the entire trip: shopping at the local market with a chef and then cooking a traditional meal with her in her home. It was such an authentic, intimate experience. We also had a flamenco lesson before seeing a live flamenco show, and learning the history and emotion behind the dance made the performance even more special. Our tours around the Alcázar, Plaza de España, and the historic neighborhoods were all private, perfectly paced, and full of great stories. On our way to Granada, we stopped in Ronda for a beachside picnic with a gorgeous view—it felt like something out of a movie. Granada itself was breathtaking, especially with our private tour through the Alhambra and the Albaicín. Again, the accommodations were beautiful and in the best part of town. Finally, we took a comfortable train to Madrid, where we toured the Royal Palace, the Prado, and the vibrant neighborhoods with yet another wonderful private guide. Every city felt effortless because transfers, tours, and timing were coordinated so smoothly. What really sets Your Trip to Spain and Portugal apart is how responsive they were—anytime we had a question or needed anything, they replied immediately and took care of it.
