The region of the light…this area has it all: city, beach & countryside.

Cadiz is said to be the oldest city in Europe, founded by the Phoenicians around 1500 BC. Almost surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, its singular architecture makes it unique. Cadiz used to monopolize all trade between Spain and the Americas, and today this past is still visible in the typical colonial architectural style of the city.

Just a few miles away, you can delve into the land of Sherry wine and horses. Both traditions have cohabited in Jerez for centuries. Get ready to feel the scent of sherry wines, discover centenary wineries, stroll around vineyards and attend an equestrian show or farm.

And southern these two, the wild beaches of Costa de la Luz are located. The perfect place to relax, but also to enjoy some thrilling adventure, such as kitesurfing…or Almadraba fishing in May.

Finally, the white villages in the area, such as Vejer de la Frontera, will bring some magic to your trip!
