The Most Beautiful Towns in Spain
Did you know that in Spain we have a list of the most beautiful towns in the country?
We do, and it is not a random list. It is a list which just includes towns which have been carefully selected based on over 40 strict criteria. E.g. they must have no more than 15,000 inhabitants, they must boast a certified architectural or natural heritage, and what is more important, they must work to preserve it untouched and clean, as well as to preserve local culture and traditions, they must restrict traffic, etc. Ultimately, this title seeks to promote off-the-beaten-path and sustainable travel in Spain.
All in all, with the new 11 additions of 2021, the list comprehends a total of 103 gorgeous towns scattered all over Spain. See the full list at the end of this article.
They reflect the local culture, architecture and traditions of each region: enchanting whitewashed villages of Andalucia, secret Medieval villages of Aragon, fairy-tale towns of Castilla y León, charming villages of the Canary Islands, captivating fishing villages of Asturias…
An endless list of mesmerizing destinations which will make your trip to Spain unique, special and memorable.
