Big Festivities For Little Ones

Kids all around the world eagerly await winter holidays for the whole year. For Spanish kids, there is a day that cannot be missed, 5th of January.

The most important moment comes in the afternoon of that day, when The Three Kings parade along the streets of cities, towns and villages all over Spain.

If you want your children to live a very special experience, do not hesitate to bring them to Spain at this time of year and discover our tradition. No matter which destination you choose, you will enjoy one of the most magic evenings you can imagine.

One of the biggest celebrations occurs in Madrid, where a huge parade takes the city. A large number of decorated floats carry weird and wonderful characters and they throw sweets to the crowd. A tip to make the experience even more enjoyable is to take an umbrella, turn it upside down and your children will be able to catch loads of sweets!

Besides the Three Kings Parade, in Madrid, there is much more fun guaranteed for the little ones throughout the Christmas period.

In addition to all the monuments, parks, museums, musical events, and activities, the city is decorated with beautiful Christmas lights. If you want to explore this lights’ show in a different way, you can take the seasonal Christmas bus that takes you on a tour of all the Christmas lights throughout the city.

Another spot that you can’t miss is the traditional Winter Market of Plaza Mayor. Here, of course, you will find all types of Christmas decorations, but also toys, crafts and joke items.

Make the most of the Christmas break in Spain and extend your trip until 7th January, when Sales start in Spain. They are the best opportunity to get real bargains in any shop in the city.
